i love how these cards feeeeeel rider-waite tarot with fundamentally the same pamela coleman smith illustration, but with more vibrant colors. the cards themselves are a thicker stock. this deck went through hell. roommates dog ate the high priestess. shoved in a bag while working on the go. sticky bar tops. eventually lost four cards while running for the bus and will eventually replace it.

these have that rough glow in the dark paint texture to them. love. rider-waite tarot with original pamela coleman smith illustration. the cards themselves are regular stock. you have to charge them in sunlight if you want them all to glow, which i thought at first was dumb for me to buy them. then i realized: if i read cards in the park and then again at night, the cards that came up the most would glow. fun!

people really struggle with reading reversals. toss 'em out! you really don't need to read them. if you're curious about how they could add meaning, this deck does a good job of expressing the classic interpretation of upright as the light in the card and the reversed as the shadow. reversals are much more than that (at least to me),

so it can be limiting, but it's a beautifully conceived and produced tarot deck.
